Product Description: (Set of 2).A SPECIALLY DISCOUNTED PACKAGE THAT INCLUDES BOTH "The Very First Easter" & "The Very First Christians."

"The Very First Easter" is a wonderful gift for children, families and friends. Written by best-selling author and historian, Paul Maier, "The Very First Easter" returns the sacred focus to the true Easter story that is often missing in literature for the young. It examines the last days of Jesus on earth, his death, and resurrection, viewing them in both scriptural and secular contexts. Highlights the historicity of the biblical account.

In "The Very First Christians," 12 year old Chris has a lot of questions. When his grandfather visits, Chris turns to him for answers. This book presents an overview of the book of Acts, featuring events and characters such as Pentecost, Peter, Stephen, the conversion of Saul, and Paul's missionary journeys. The third of a trilogy, it offers a clear understanding of growth of the early church, highlighting some of the challenges of carrying out the Great Commission--all under the guidance of God's grace through the power of the Holy Spirit. Both books are over-sized, hardbound, and beautifully illustrated by Francisco Ordaz. Ideal for children ages 5 - 15.
